It’s almost time to whip that kit off…

  • How will the day go?

On arrival, we’ll have a chat for 10-15 mins and settle you in.

Then when you feel ready to give it a go, strip down & we’ll start taking some pics!

My initial idea is for standing poses only, though if someone fancies lying down or trying something weird & whacky then we’ll give it a go towards the end. I’m here for the crazy ideas!

I expect to shoot to last no longer than 20-30 mins.

After we’ll chat some more shit & given that we’ll be in my studio you’re welcome to have a nosey at any artwork. Or if you’re in a rush to run away that’s fine too haha!

  • Location & Time

Head to 30 Meadow Lane, Loughborough, LE11 1JY - it’s fairly accurate on Google Maps but look for the green double wooden gates and a fairly narrow driveway entrance.

Follow the gravel & park at any available space. Then walk back towards the entrance gates and you’ll see Unit 8b. Give us a ring on the good ol’ video doorbell and I’ll be down to greet you. (The wifi is crap so it may take me a few mins to know you’re here… bear with!)

  • What to bring:

Yourself! As mentioned, as gorgeous as your faces are this shoot is all about the body as you’ll have a helium balloon in front of your face the whole time.

Just wear something comfy & the main thing to bring is CONFIDENCE

Feel free to bring your own towels/slippers if you’d like.

  • What to wear?

If you’re ballsy enough (lol) then by the end of the shoot you may be full on starkers! However, you are more than welcome to start off in your clothes, or an oversized T until you feel comfortable and then move to undies, then to the nude.

Hair & makeup is not essential. You could roll out of bed for all I care! Just bear in mind the pictures will pick up small details so if you’d rather not see your chipped nail polish or the hair bobble on your wrist, take them off (bane of my life, anyone else!)

If you’re not feeling it, you are also welcome to leave at any time - no stress, no drama, no worries!

  • Toilets & changing?

I will have a 2m room divider up in a corner of the studio to give you a semi-private changing area. I’ll be busy setting up the lighting etc but if you’d fully like me to leave the room that’s no problem, please just let me know.

The only eurgh point is that the toilet isn’t within the studio, it’s near where you will park and whilst it does the job, it’s not the Ritz (just an fyi).

  • Covid Safety

I can have 3 people in my studio and comply with social distancing measures, as long as we keep moving on the stairways.

Masks are optional and completely at your discretion. Given that I’m in my studio solo most days I may forget, so please remind me if you’d like masks on. I’m not ignorant, just really bloody forgetful!

  • Accessibility

The studio is through a doorway, then up a flight of fairly old wooden stairs (around 12 steps), with bannisters on both sides.

Unfortunately there is no lift access.

  • Can I bring someone?

Yes, partners, friends, family, pets etc are all welcome, just please make sure they’ve signed the NDA in advance.

This can be done on the day if you’d like.

  • I've got tattoos, does it matter?

Not at all! If you’re worried that one of them makes you easily recognisable, I can photoshop these out before the image is printed.

  • What's in it for me?

You bunch of little legends! Once the shoot is done, please give me 3-4 weeks post shoot to get the images edited.

I estimate narrowing down 3-5 images for each of you, which you’ll receive a watermarked digital only copy of. Then from them you can pick your favourite which I’ll turn into a A3 Giclee print, on 310gsm Infinity Rag Paper. It will be marked as a 1/1 Limited Edition and posted to you complimentary.

  • Why the NDA & Model Release Form?

    NDA

It’s crucial that the anonymity of Ballooon Boy remains a secret. Any conversations we have must remain within the four walls of the studio. I am more than happy to discuss the project further with you on the day.

    Model Release

Allows use of the images of you (the model) to be reproduced into prints, sold commercially and used on social media. Again if you have any questions, or reservations about any aspect of this please get in touch to discuss.

Knowledge is key and I want you all to feel 100% happy with what you’re getting involved in.
